Liberal Arts and Sciences course

Welcome to the Summer/Winter Program

We strongly encourage you to come to Tokushima and participate in our exciting four-week summer/winter program. This program is mainly for students who major in medical science or agriculture and for students who have an interest in these fields. The program will provide life science and agricultural experience practice in English. You will also learn about and see local festivals, historical and cultural sites and naturally attractive places in the area. You will experience many hands-on activities and take part in many lectures and classes based on communication-based learning. As well, you will have many opportunities to interact with students from around the world, Japanese students at Tokushima University, as well as people from the community. This summer program is held mainly for undergraduate students who are considering a half or full-year academic study program at Tokushima University based on our student exchange agreements. We are sure that you will have a great memorable experience during this program and look forward to seeing you this summer/winter.

Program Features:

• Labo experience (life science and agricultural experience practice)
• Communication-based learning. Classes are held in Japanese and English.
• Peer Learning and Support.
• Volunteer experiences.
• Exercise-based Learning (Castle, Awa dance, pottery, indigo-dyeing etc.)
• Excursion at Anabuki and Kamikatsu Town, etc.

40,000 yen Dormitory use	80,000 yen Private room use

• Extra charge of 3,000 yen/night with cancellation of paticipation to excursion.

Accommodations

• Tokushima University will provide dormitory or private room accommodation.

Scholarship

You can win scholarship regarding your grades in Winter program.
